Original 1979 Sims Brad Bowman signature model concave skateboard. Considered VERY RARE by Art of Skateboarding! This may well be a Holy Grail to some Sims collectors. Condition would be considered good to very good for a nearly 40 year old skateboard. Paint is bright, but with scuffs from being skated. Deck was re-drilled from original holes to better suit skater. Deck is solid with a chip on the front and under the Nose Bone. Board comes with original spec Gullwing H. Pro IV trucks and well used Powell Peralta 64x57mm Bones wheels with Sims racing bearings. Axels and kingpins are straight and solid. Wheels spin freely with expected amount of noise from 40 year old bearings. Board is missing decals from the inset areas, which would have been either Sims logos, or snakes. Slight wheel rub on wheel indents. Board is well used but a stalwart survivor and would be an excellent showpiece as-is, or a great candidate for restoration. One footnote, and this is from the second owner of the board, that this board was originally owned by the Athen’s band lead guitarist Randy Bewley, who was a Georgia skater as well as guitar legend.
