Vintage 1988 Powell Peralta Mike Vallely “Street Style” in original shrink. Board is in excellent condition with some minor tears/scratches on original shrink that is 36 years old. Shrink can be easily removed without any damage/discoloration to the graphics. Graphics are in excellent condition and is still as vibrant as day 1. There is no warpage on this deck. It is a beautiful deck that I hate to let go but I need to put my kids through college.

Vintage 1988 Powell Peralta Mike Vallely Elephant deck. The tail was rebuilt and painted along with other areas of the deck. I’ve taken before and after pictures The first 6 pictures are the current condition. I’ve also shown part of the process in a picture. There’s been quite a bit of paint touch up work done on it. In some lighting the paint gives a shiny or dull effect. In the Sun it’s a candy apple red, with overcast it’s more of a burgundy red. Deck is about a inch shorter than normal full size. POWELL PERALTA NOS MIKE VALLELY ELEPHANT VINTAGE SKATEBOARD DECK. Board is in very good condition as I bought it in the shrink and has only been displayed for a short period and stored otherwise. It does have a scuff or two on it where the shrink was damaged particularly around the nose and there is some light stress cracks around the tail area. These have not changed in the time I have owned it. I have tried to take as many images as possible to highlight. Took my about 3 years to land this around 10 years ago. OG Powell Mike Vallely rare VINTAGE elephant. Circa 1988 original Vallely deck that is used. Its been drilled for rails more than once. It has scratches and is well worn. Repeat, it is worn and well used but very presentable. These are hard to come by. The Tail has lots of wear which is typical of skated decks. The term is razored. So the deck has a razored tail, meaning as one stopped by leaning on your back foot the deck got scratched to the point that the sidewalk or pavement rubbed off paint and wood in that area. Often at an angle as can be seen here visibly. An NOS would be 10x this number. Please know what you are looking at and let your eyes and your knowledge of vintage skateboards help you make your own decision about condition.
