RARE G&S “Flying Aces” Autographed By Dennis Martinez Skate Deck. 9″ x 31.75″. New in plastic signed deck.

30″ long, 2.5″ and thinnest to 5.5 at widest. Amazing rare piece of skateboard history. Made right here in Lancaster PA. Condition shown in photos.

Bottom layer is made of FibreFlex Bow-Tuff. 30.5″ x 10″. Top decal is curling a little around the edges.

A Flying Ace ROAD SURFER. This is of the generation of wooden/metal wheeled boards whereby they were marketing it as a cheaper/easier means to break into the sport of [ocean] surfing and coining it as “street surfing”… This one bigging ever so slightly longer than most of that period took it a step further and suggested itself as a “road surfer”. MADE IN LANCASTER PENNSYLVANIA! An Eagle shooting lighting bolts out its talons, UFO/Spaceship, Lightning Bolts.. I especially love the vintage lightning-bolt-font. Please see finger point pics for any cosmetic blemishes. Overall the graphics are still bright and pop. Wheels all have rust, but its faint/light surface rust and uniform throughout so it doesn’t detract from the piece and just nods to the piece’s been-there-done-that-life. This is a Gordon and Smith Fibreflex Reissue Deck. I can find very little on this deck, it seems to be a reissue of the Dennis Martinez Flying Aces deck without the bottom graphics. What little dubious info I could find said that possibly there were 2 runs of these, the first having 5 laminates? This deck is 10×30.5 and seems to be 7 layers, the bottom veneer looks to be composite. It has a couple of blems on the bottom layer that could be shelf wear, but I suspect it came that way from the factory.
