Here is a nice hobie super surfer 5 stringer multi wooden skateboard.. The board is all original and in great condition too.. This is the 23 inch one. Check out the photos of this one.. Its not perfect but nice still.. Wheels look like they are hardly ridden on. This one has the rarer darker brown wheels and the silver lettering that you do not see much. Original decal was missing but has the right one on it now.. This is a refurbished, vintage Hobie Super Surfer sidewalk surfboard skateboard with 9 multi-wood stringers. It measures about 30″ long x 7 3/8″ wide. This started off as a project in fair condition with the tail section requiring some repair. I sectioned in a new piece to the board from my hardwood stash (see pictures 10, 11 and 12). If you zoom in to that picture, you can get an idea of the board’s original condition. After repairs were completed, the board was sanded and finished with 3 coats of satin polyurethane. I did not remove all the blemishes as they are part of the story of the skateboard. Trucks and wheels were cleaned, new bushings installed and remounted. Here is a very nice hard to find 29 inch Hobie 5 stringer skateboard from the 60s.. This is the longer version at 29 inches as you find more of the 25 inch ones.. Very clean skateboard from the time period.. The original sticker was missing on the board so the correct replacement sticker has been added..
