Vintage 1970s True Glide flex plastic skate board! Black plastic, has scratches from use. The wheels seem loose, and it definitely needs new bearings. Been in a garage for years. Classic 1970′s skateboard, solid wood deck, True Glide trucks, Power Pam wheels. No markings on the deck. Wheels & trucks look to be in good condition, wheels spin good. Deck has some chipping around edges & tail. Very cool OG board, nice shape, classic skateboard! Measures 29″ Long, 7.5″ at widest & weighs just under 6lbs.

Board is as found and not cleaned up.

Up for your consideration is quite the rare bird, a 1978 Stewart Singer Freestyle Variflex Skateboard with Independent Stage 1 trucks and very unique mag wheels. This era of our sport was actually before my time and I look forward to seeing end up in the hands of someone who will truly appreciate it. One thing that astounded me is how Independent is spelled out without the I and instead is just Ndependent Truck Co I combined one photo of a truck with the Indy ID pic from the same angle to verify these are indeed the stage 1′s. This board has a little bit or writing on it as well as what may be some coloring, and one of the six plies that make this deck has partially separated though, with the exception of one spot near the right nose, the layer has not cracked and could be reglued if one was inclined. Sims pro model deck for Dave Andrecht with original Independent trucks and Sims The Wheel wheels. When I found this I hopped on to test it and it did ride nice and it felt sturdy enough to ride more but I feel its probably better off as a display piece at this point of its life.
