Two boxes of multiple skateboard parts. 1 (One) Super rare 1985 G&S Skateboard Neil Blender Rock Dog #2 deck with mounted trucks and wheels. This is an original working skateboard from the famed Gordon and Smith Skateboard company. Christian Hosoi was the guy to bring us the reality of having more nose. Doing body jars, doing airs to tail like you would not believe. Were just like, Whoah. And he had that rad hammerhead. I remember looking at his board and going, Oh well. Those weird shapes and bumps look kind of stupid but I like his tail. Thats why the tail started to flair out on this one. I tried to copy his tail a little bit and then just make it go clean and smooth and have some more nose. And then we just stayed with this shape the whole time. Artwork and enhancements include. Original G&S label (S missing) on’Lapis Lazuli’-blue deck. Bespoke patterned deck tape applied in haphazard fashion (about 80% of pieces remain). Remnants of’Rock The Boat Records’ sticker on tail. 1 G&S Foil Tail’ skate deck. Plain black deck with artwork removed, deck tape on front and rear. Holes pre-drilled for trucks, side rails, tail grab piece (still partially attached). Original G&S Foil Tail logo and design on blue background. & mystery telephone number deck Fully front and rear deck grip taped. Pre-drilled for mounting trucks. Man, (drawing of mans feet)’ sticker on deck center obscuring mostly illegible original deck artwork ending with what appears to be’… Chalk inscribed depiction of multiple cat food cans. Light blue double skull motif set against fuschia background. Randomly placed red lettered on white background’Vans’ sticker. (Vans were the ONLY skate footwear to be seen in during the 80′s). 1 Box of assorted skateboard parts (packaged on 12/14/1999 in sturdy Crate & Barrel red lettered box). Box is clearly labeled’Skateboard Parts’ on multiple sides (see picture), to avoid confusion when put into a storage room for 15+ years. All parts certified known to have worked. Includes (all as shown). Bonus: orange/clear handled flat head screwdriver for working on your skateboards! All skateboards are certified known to work in 1980′s, come pre broken in with usage grinds/shaping on front, side, and rear rails as well as those hard to get wear marks on the art work adorning the undersides of the decks from coping, stair, and curb grind maneuvers. Grip tape affixed to deck tops has had rough, harsh feel (undesirably found in newly applied grip tape) smoothed – enabling a pain free bare-foot skating experience. Wheels and trucks have been painstakingly ground to perfection during a wide variety of actual skateboarding experiences in varied terrain (street, parks) to maximize looks and performance.
