I built this several years ago as a pristine wall-hanging display piece. It has never once been ridden, stepped on, or rolled. There is absolutely no razor tail, zero scuffs, and zero scratches. This setup features incredibly rare, limited-edition components that are almost impossible to source together now. ? Component Breakdown:Deck: Sims Superply 9.0 Reissue. A beautiful 9″ x 30″ natural-wood model celebrating the 1978 original that changed skate history. Pressed and shaped by Paul Schmitt’s legendary PS Stix shop. Trucks: Independent 149 Stage 11 Standard Trucks. The gold standard for durability and classic carving geometry. Fits the 9.0 width cleanly. Wheels: Ultra-Rare Sims Snake Reissue 66mm (Green). Poured in California by Brand-X using Tom Sims’ actual, original buried molds. True 84A durometer with the iconic flat-back design featuring sharp outer lips. These retain the beautiful, expected factory mold-aging character marks that make them a collector’s dream. Hardware/Extras: Fresh black grip tape, premium bearings, and proper old-school riser pads to give it that perfect, authentic era height. Stored in a temperature-controlled room out of direct sunlight to prevent any wood warping or graphics fading. This is the ultimate setup for anyone looking to add a piece of premium 70s vertical/pool history to their wall, or for a collector who wants the ultimate heavy-duty retro cruiser.
