This vintage Variflex Jack the Ripper skateboard is in rough shape. It is not rideable and is scratched in multiple places, but the design is very rare. I found a slightly better version, so I no longer need this one. One of the side rails is broken, and there is a crack in the tail guard too. The other side rail may be broken also. Mid 80s OP ” fish out of water” skateboard deck. They made it the same exact way that you make a surfboard with a foam core and a fiberglass housing. It’s in very good shape. One small ding that’s been repaired very well on the tail. I’ve done some research on this, and these are extremely rare. I found the decal online which I posted in the photos. I was told the other day from a friend who used to have a skateboard museum. He believes this board was made by Santa Cruz Skateboards for OP.

As you can see this deck failed the quality control process as the paint wants to chip off. Got the board directly from the owner Perry back in the early 2000′s.
