Vintage NOS Planet Earth Skateboards Buster Halterman Chasing Tails Skateboard. Let me start off by saying that I’ve been a life long skateboarder and collecting skateboards for over 15 years and this is extremely rare. When this deck came out the actual purpose was to sell the deck with no bottom graphics screened but included a large graphic sticker that you could stick to the board if you wanted to. I bought the deck alone many years ago. The previous owner painted an exact replica of the graphic onto the blank deck. It looked amazing but I continued to search for an actual OG sticker to go with it. After many years of searching I finally found one. I’ve held off from sticking the sticker to the graphic and will leave that to the new owner to decide off that’s what they choose. The top graphic is factory screened and does have some scuffs as shown in photos. The likelihood of finding this combination is honestly pretty astronomical. Over 15 years I only know of 2 others in this condition with both the deck and sticker being NOS. Photos 20 and 21 show the sticker laid on top of the painted graphic.

Solid oak deck- none of that laminated plywood here! Graceful kick tail and shark nose shape. Lightly ridden and stored inside since the 1970s. From the heyday roots of Dogtown, it would be a challenge to find a nicer example than this cherry deluxe creampuff. Rare Vintage 1970′s Logan Earth Ski, Bruce Logan Model World Pro Champion Skateboard. This board was very popular and in demand with some of the top skaters in the mid 70′s. The deck is Solid Oak, designed by Bruce Logan with a kicktail and “shark nose” shape. It’s in Good Condition with some wear on the front and back ends. T has ACS-580 Trucks VG, Blue Spacer pads, and Kryptonics 70mm Green Wheels VG. Measurements 29″ L x 71/2″ at widest point. Bruce Logan started skateboarding in the 50′s and became one of the first professional skateboarders. He was instrumental in making skateboarding a legitimate sport and was inducted into the Inaugural Skateboarding Hall of Fame in 2009. His family is considered to be the first family of skateboarding. A Logan Earth Ski, Bruce Logan World Pro Champion model skateboard deck resides at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History. Both enthusiasts and collectors alike would be stoked to own this piece of history!
