Please Note: I bought my first Motoboard in 1978-79. I had at least one ever since. I still have my first one but it is not for sale at this time. I have several others but this is. The nicest running one I have. I’m almost 62 years old and I figured I should quit riding while I’m still ahead of the game. Also my knees are going bad. (Too many G-Turns I guess). Description: Here’s a bitchen Motoboard that I’m willing to part with. It is used and enjoyed but has lots of life left. The wood deck is 30 1/4″ by 9″. The wheels are Kryptonics. Rear trucks are Motobilt and front trucks are Tracker. It features a pull-start 25.4 CC Komatsu engine, centrifugal clutch, posi-traction and driveshaft. It has good compression. This is not one of those early 70s-80s ones which were push-start, direct-drive, had no clutch and were chain-driven. (Even those were way cool). This will reach speeds of 25-30 M. It will even go uphill at about a 5-6 degree grade if you get a good running start. There are NO BRAKES!!! To slow down you release the throttle and use the engine compression to slow you down. You need to anticipate in advance when and where you need to stop. You will get the hang of it pretty quickly. You are going to LOVE This Skateboard!!! It is advisable to wear a helmet and pads. All you have to do is designate a clean one-gallon gas can and mix in exactly one bottle of 2-stroke oil. To exactly one gallon of regular unleaded gas, shake it gently to mix it and pour it into the gas tank. I will provide 2 bottles of 2-stroke oil which is enough to make 2 gallons of pre-mixed gas. That will give you hundreds of miles of stoke. To start it, you need to push the primer bulb a couple of times, turn on the choke and pull the rope a few times until it starts and then back off on the choke. I will be listing more skateboard gems as I dig them out. Used but not thrashed. You maintain the deck, wheels and trucks like a regular skateboard. You maintain the engine like you would a leaf blower or chainsaw. Rear wheels were replaced a couple of years ago. Front wheels have a few more miles on them but are not coned. The rear truck bushings would need to be replaced soon but are not critical. The deck has no cracks just proof of enjoyment. Throttle cable still responsive as it should be. Original grip-tape is still good. My friend (Lloyd) gave me this Motoboard a couple of years ago as a thank-you for turning him on to Motoboards decades ago. It has some graffiti on it. (He liked to name his Motoboards). He has over 8 of these. If the writing bothers you, just cover it with a couple small pieces of grip-tape or get a sharpie and cross it out. See my other items! All I have to do is remove the 4 truck base plate screws. Local pick-up is allowed. Sometimes It’s off a few cents either way but it’s close enough for government work.
