Vintage G&S FIBREFLEX Bowlrider Model Skateboard Deck Gordon & Smith. Here is a really sweet vintage 29 inch G&S Fibreflex 1. Generation Bowlrider Model Skateboard deck from the 1970s. These differ from the more recent 2. Series Bowlriders in that these are shaped basically the same as the Kicktail model, but a little thicker. Series versions, the first series Bowlriders were also available in 27 and 29 inch lengths. This deck is in very good solid condition. However there was a repair to the back edge of the tail. Bit of fiberglass splintering on the underside of the nose. The rails and tail show little to no ware. The original grip was a mess so I removed it and replaced it with new rubberized grip tape that is just the same as the old rubberized grip that G&S used back in the 1970s. The top deck and bottom deck fibreflex stickers are new replacements they did not use a Bowlrider sticker until the 2. The deck looks really nice, and it now measures approximately 28.5 x 6.5 inches. Note: The last two photos show old G&S ads featuring the early (first generation) Fibreflex Bowlrider model. Gleaming the Cube / Christian Slaters. Mike McGill Skull & Snake. You can compare my replica to the real one pictured in last photo. Youll notice the white vato sticker has some black color underneath it. Up for sale is a replica of the skateboard / Christian Slater used in the movie Gleaming the Cube. This replica I put together consists of all original parts stickers and accessories from the 1980s. This one definitely took a lot of time and effort! It is near identical to the complete used in the movie but I have not made any of the easy scribbles on the board. Everything is 100% original and OG. Not really sure where to start with asking price. Dont miss out on this one, I expect it to sell pretty fast! 1987 Powell Peralta Mike Mcgill Skull Snake XT Deck. Yellow Powell Peralta Gorilla Bones (never used only mounted). NOS Black Powell Peralta Jaw Bone (3-screw, 1st gen model, new). P owell Peralta Crossbones Wheels. Tracker Extrack Trucks (metal black base w/ Red Hanger). White Cellblock II Risers. 1980 PP Gold Dragon Sticker. 1983 Vato / Bones Sticker – Just like the prop board used in the movie it is cut and placed in 2 places. The white vato rat is below top right wheel and the word Bones is below bottom left wheel. Maroon Powell Peralta Vato Sticker – (not applied yet, pictured in first photo). Original Mcgill Sticker – (included but not pictured) Mcgill skull is cut out in the movie and attached on top side of deck above Dragon. The complete used in the movie has both the Ribs & Jaw Bone attached using wood screws. I have not attached the plastics yet but all are included with a set of wood screws. The board is completely undrilled in current state. The Powell Peralta Vato sticker across Mcgill on board yet but it is included. The board in the movie had a maroon colored sticker which I eventually realized was a pink on top of a black vato sticker. After looking at numerous photos I also realized the dragon on top side of board was also covered by Golden Dragon sticker. From what I understand, every logo on the board had to be covered But the funny thing is they were able to cover those logos/copyrighted brand names with stickers of the same thing haha. I did not do anything yet to the board where the the replica idea could not be turned around. Meaning, no damage has been done and to complete it you just simply need to drill the plastics in wood screws, make the scribbles in paint, write skate or die on tail with a pen and its completed. You can see the exact condition details in the photos included. The graphics are in excellent condition, it looks and display great. This colorway is extremely rare, one of the hardest to find. I personally love the Black Base / Red hanger Trackers. The Crossbones wheels have a decent amount of wear With only a few sides legibly displaying the text on wheel.
