Vintage Santa Cruz skateboard (circa late’80s-might be a Bod Boyle model), complete with original Independent trucks, Blockhead Wild Things wheels, and T-bolts (4 bolts are missing). Deck is trashed, with lots of stress cracks and sun damage. Most of the graphics are gone. The bolts and bearings are rusty.
The deck is one owner (me), has been in storage, not even displayed. Only moved it a few times, not handled much at all, always stored indoors in a closet here in San Jose, California. Nice tight shrink wrap, no tears I can see but again I do not guarantee this. Looks like L2638 is stamped on bottom below elephant as shown in last photo with some glare from the flash camera. Approximately 30 or so inches in length. (look at the 24 photos I have posted). In my opinion a great looking never used deck. Board will be well packed.
They had several Mr Rags stores in the Malls here in Northern Calif back then. I just took it out of storage. This is a fully licensed/original World Industries shirt. Men’s Large, short sleeved. New, never worn or even displayed, in storage almost 20 years. The World industries Tag on collar says 100% cotton, Made in USA. Nice item if you are into collecting vintage World Industries items. This is a John Lucero skateboards Street thing 2 from 1989 made by Santa Cruz. There are some storage scuffs that are shown in the photos, and some other marks across the tail from one side to the other that look like they were on there before it was painted. The last photo is a close up of the area that has the weird scratches that looks like it was used once to drop in on pool coping before it got painted and screen printed. So try to zoom in close on the area right behind the back truck mounting holes. It’s kinda hard to see in the photo but I didn’t want to cut the shrink open.
