This is an original 80s skateboard in wonderful rideable condition; not totally sure of the exact year but its either 1987 or 1988. This is NOT one of the modern reproductions or reissues, it is an ORIGINAL 1980s Powell Peralta Caballero Dragon and Bats skateboard. It has been stored in a climate controlled house in the many years Ive owned it, never in a garage or outdoors. There is no damage, delamination or anything of the sort on this lightly ridden skateboard. The Thunder trucks with skull and crossbones on one, and a lizard? On the other, risers, Ugly Stix grind guards, and Powell Peralta Caballero Dragon and Bats deck are all original to the skateboard as it was built in the 1980s. NOS 1980s Kryptonics Slammers 60mm 78A wheels were used as replacements for the old worn wheels. The truck bushings, hardware, ceramic bearings and grip tape are all modern replacements. The the wheel/bearing combo make this a quick, stable skateboard, and one I occasionally rode around as transportation on my college campus. In fact, I tried not to kick the tail at all, in order to preserve the skateboard. It has the standard wear along the edges and tail of the deck, all from minor riding use. Ugly Stix grind guards have minor scrapes, and there is evidence of a sticker removal below the front truck. In front of the front truck has a MR carved in the deck from the previous owner, youd have to look for it to see it. There is a minor chip on the corner one of the white plastic truck risers. The main graphics on the top and bottom are in perfect, gorgeous condition. You’ll be really happy with this period-correct skateboard, a totally rideable part of skate history.
