This is the real deal vintage Powell Peralta McGill board, featuring the signature Snake & Skull design. It also has the more detailed dragon logo design on top and the jagged “McGill”, so that places it around’85 -’87. The metallic-y purple color is also unique, something the guys in McGill’s Skateshop in Encinitas pointed out to me. Instead of the red or dark gray underneathwhich seems to be a little more commonit’s got the off-white, which totally makes the purple pop. It has screw holes where there used to be rails. The snake & skull graphic is in pretty good condition, with a few scratches (see pictures). Given the wear on the tail, this board got it’s share of use, so the fact that the image and the paint itself looks as good as it does is awesome!
