1977- The year that George Powell (pre-Peralta) started manufacturing these amazing maple and aluminum series of boards including this 72cm Quicktail. The feel of these boards was unique. This was a direct shot at G&S with their Fibreflex models. This board comes with period correct NOS Gullwing Phoenix split axles and a set of NOS non-period correct Sims Street Wheels (just for cosmetics). Note, this is not a reissue board! I DO NOT Want to split the board up, either. 6.75″ x 28.35″. 45 year old grip tape in place. The Dogtown crew was a major influence, and I was fortunate to see all of them in action throughout my teenage years. I have sought out skateboards for my collection that had the most impact on me. The provenance and authenticity of my collection is without question. All of these boards and decks have been on display or storage. No complete boards or decks have seen daylight since acquisition.
