Set of four used vintage 1st gen Sims Pure Juice Competition skateboard wheels. Better than typically seen printed labels have some wear/thinning but are nearly complete which is pretty rare. Usually parts of them are completely obliterated. Urethane isn’t as clear as new but still not nearly opaque. Importantly, the clarity is consistent between all four wheels which is also pretty uncommon. Often it can vary within a set (The pics against the sky are not taken with the wheel directly in front of the sun, it’s off to the side). Fairly low wear on the riding surfaces. I used a solvent on the riding surfaces to tidy them up, mainly to remove asphalt residue. They have not been treated with Armor All or any other similar product to enhance their appearance. No, they’re not cheap, but a set with labels this good and low overall wear along with consistent clarity are rarely offered. I’ve been following the market on these for almost 15 years and there nearly always seems to be at least one wheel with a bad label or a wheel or two that doesn’t match clarity-wise when a set comes along.
