This is an OG first run, (not reissue), of Ron Allen’s first Pro model ever, featuring the original “Shackle Me Not” graphic, first released to the public in 1989. I choose Thunder Stage 2 149 trucks because they were the best on the market at that time. Powell Perelta 97a Crossbones wheels were my favorite wheels, and are still sought after and coveted today. Lastly, I chose Schmitt Stix Shok Blox polyurethane risers. Bushings, bearings, and deck hardware have been replaced, everything else is original from 1989. This has been in storage for the majority of the last 36 years. A real treasure as Ron Allen was the second black man in skateboarding history to turn pro, after Steve Steadham in 1984. I hate to part with this special set up, but I’d love to see it go to someone who can truly appreciate it for the valuable piece of skateboard history that it is.
