NOS Vintage G&S YoYo Skateboard Wheels – Blue – Set of 4. 2nd Generation – Single Molded Conical Back. This is a rare set of NOS G&S YoYo skateboard wheels from the late 70′s in mellow blue. These are the second generation conical wheels with the molded conical backs. YoYo wheels went through a few evolutions, including hand-lathed single conicals, hand-lathed double conicals, molded conicals, and the infamous Roller-balls (see my other auctions for an example of each of these). Designed by Steve Cathey, YoYos were the most popular wheels in the world at one time. These would be perfect for your Fibreflex Teamrider or Bowlrider. Brand : G&S Gordon and Smith. Model : YoYo – 2nd generation conical. Condition: This is a new old stock set of wheels. They have been stored in a box, in a climate controlled building. The shade of blue is fairly consistent, but you may see minor variance. This is pretty normal for urethane wheels – especially for wheels that are over 40 years old.
