ITEM: Vintage Rare Original 1987 VALTERRA’BACK TO THE FUTURE’ Marty McFly Michael J. Fox Theme Graphic Complete Skateboard WELL USED CONDITION. Size: 9 3/4″ x 28 3/4″ inches. Deck: Back to the Future. DESCRIPTION : Vintage Rare Hard to Find Original 1987 Valterra Back to the Future graphic complete skateboard with a lot of character. This is the same model and graphic skateboard that Marty McFly used in the movie. It is a bit worn but a cool collectible from the 1980′s, especially if you are a fan of the Back to the Future franchise. Great display piece or perhaps you need some authentic vintage parts to finish your own vintage build. All the Wheels still spin, it is all original and I didn’t replace or mess with a single thing. Perhaps you had one of these back in the day. This would make a great wall hanger/display piece, project for restoration, hang in bar or restaurant, resell in your shop, collector, nostalgia, investment, wonderful gift, or for personal use of course! 9 3/4″ wide by 28 3/4″ inches long. Overall condition especially considering age and intended use. Has the phrase “skate or die” on the bottom in red paint. Two of the front bolts are snapped/broken off and one bolt is bent pretty bad. It is missing all the original rail guards and skid plates. One of the lower red bushings is cracked. Some significant wear and chips to nose area, scuffs/scratches, general wear, marks, pressure/stress cracks, imperfections, staining, rustic spots on metal, stickers and other wear from a board that is over 30+ years old. Bolts and bearings are a bit rustic and s. Ome coning to the wheels. Basically, the whole complete is in pretty well worn and used shape. Please see ALL photos for details on item and condition. Vintage Variflex of California 80s Skateboard Complete 1987 Amazon Pro Rage XP

Vintage Variflex of California 80s Skateboard Complete 1987 Amazon Variflex XP. Hard to believe but this is a beautiful VARIFLEX OF CALIFORNIA Variflex XP “Amazon” skateboard that never really seemed to have made it to the streets, bowls or pools as the wear is very minor! Vintage, lightly used original Variflex from 1987 in excellent condition for what it is. The actual board looks to have never really been ridden outside as indicated by the lack of actual asphalt wear on the trucks and rails, no significant grinding on the truck or truck covers (some scuffing but no real ground in wear – if it was taken out on the streets, it was done maybe once judging by the lack of real street wear on this), just great shape. Does have shelf wear, nicks, scrapes, paint transfer from rubbing against other boards and scuffs here and there. Some scraping/scuffing on the actual Amazon graphic. Wheels look like they may have seen asphalt OR they could be worn from just being ridden around the store (we did that back in the day) or in the warehouse it was taken from. The nose guard, truck guards, rails and tail guard have been slightly and lightly grinded on a tad somehow (probably from rubbing against other boards or from being ridden in the store or tested – see pics). Scuffing along the edges and some chips out of the paint here and there. Tail guard has been lightly grinded down slightly which also could have been done in the store or warehouse or could have possibly been a customer return (which would mean it may have been used on the street, but most likely not for long, again, judging by the lack of true street wear). Since the skateboard is close to 35 years old at this point, its safe to say probably needs new bushings for the trucks and bearings. Grip tape has a few nicks and a couple warped spots. Deck is lightly concave. The deck is approximately 30″ long, 10.3″ wide at its widest point and the tail is approximately 9 wide. White deck with black Variflex Pro Rage wheels. Trucks are approximately just over 8.75 across (was hard to get an exact measurement due to the wheels blocking view). Has nose guard, tail guard, truck guards and rails. ZOOM IN ON THE PICS!! Complete vintage World Industries Flameboy skateboard. The deck, trucks and wheels are all World Industries branded. As you can see, this board was loved and heavily used. There is wear to the graphic art on the deck, the wheels and trucks. No visible cracks or chips to the deck. The grip tape has letters spray painted in yellow and there is a rectangular piece on top of the original full grip tape piece (see photo # 10 for close up). Vintage 1989 SANTA CRUZ CRUZER STREET SKATE Skateboard Complete Original RARE

ITEM: Rare Vintage Original 1989 SANTA CRUZ SKATEBOARDS’Santa Cruzer’ Street Skate Concave Edition Skateboard Complete. Model: Santa Cruzer or Street Skate Edition Model. Trucks: Tracker (Red and Black). Wheels: Powell Peralta Cross Bones. DESCRIPTION : Rare Original Light Red/Maroon natural color SANTA CRUZ’Santa Cruzer’ Street Skate Edition Original Skateboard complete with Tracker Trucks and Powell Peralta Cross Bones Wheels. Has all top of the line professional parts for its time including Santa Cruz Cell Block risers and Germany GMN bearings as well. There were a few different versions of this board put out over the years starting in the early 1980′s, and this is the longer one from 1989 that is kind of a hybrid between a street skateboard and a cruiser style longboard. Very early cruiser type board here and a rare and tough find for sure! This would be an awesome piece for the collection, wall hanger, perhaps you had this back in the day, or for using! 10 1/2″ by 36 1/2″ inches. CONDITION: Good pre-owned used condition. The deck has almost a bend/warp to it as can be seen in the last two pictures, it kinda curves up in the middle heading towards the nose area (SEE PHOTO 11-12). Deck is used and has some wear, marks, scratches/scuffs, pressure/stress cracks from age, color fading or loss, and general wear and imperfections from age and prior use. Has had drilling done to the tail and at some point had a tail guard that is no longer there. Deck has no bad chips or delamination. Trucks have some grind marks and wear from use and age. Wheels and bearings are also nice with some general wear that you would expect. All original and not messed with in any way and keep in mind it is over 30 years old at this point. 1987 Alva Skates Jim Murphy Pro Wings model Vintage Autographed Complete

Jim Murphy pro deck “Wings” model – Vintage Autographed Original. A solid example of Jim Murphy’s first pro deck with Alva Skates. Decades of shredding took a toll on the underside graphic, but this deck was well cared for and never left to rot. Veneer de-laminations of the deck and no structural cracks; only minor hairline cracking around front truck mount [pic #11]. The story was that it might have Murf’s signature on it [pic #12] – I never verified it, but this might be one of his first autographs on his first pro deck. The era of wild shape design was at its zenith in 1987, and board shapers were going ape shit. Countercultural backlash against decks that prevented progression & innovation was inevitable. Chose a viably tested evolutionary design build to navigate the pre-popsicle heyday: a fish. The piscine progression of their deck shapes during the late 80′s, manifesting in different sub-species as each. Team pro made tweaks to their signature style, largely avoided anything that got in the way of the skater or the line. Murf’s signature deck shape falls somewhere between bluefin tuna and grouper. This is Jim’Outlaw’ Murphy’s first pro deck with. Alva, and he would go on to be recognized as one of the more aggressive skaters on a team that defined the term. Murf now spends time advocating for First Nations issues, and is active in the Lenni-Lenape community. Even the Outlaw can evolve. 10″; length: 29″, 7-ply maple veneer.
