Very nice condition vintage board. Just a little wear on the tail and nose, but otherwise incredibly taken care of. Bennett Pro trucks are in great condition, with Rad Pads inbetween them and the deck. YoYo Pro wheels are in great shape, not new but not worn and scratched up as much as one would think. There are two of them on the front. The back wheels are simply marked “YoYo” and are in just as good of condition. Stickers on the bottom have either been well taken care of or were added by the previous owner in more recent years, but all appear to be right for the time period. Vintage G&S FIBREFLEX Bowlrider Model Skateboard Deck Gordon & Smith. Here is a really sweet vintage 29 inch G&S Fibreflex 1. Generation Bowlrider Model Skateboard deck from the 1970s. These differ from the more recent 2. Series Bowlriders in that these are shaped basically the same as the Kicktail model, but a little thicker. Series versions, the first series Bowlriders were also available in 27 and 29 inch lengths. This deck is in very good solid condition. However there was a repair to the back edge of the tail. Bit of fiberglass splintering on the underside of the nose. The rails and tail show little to no ware. The original grip was a mess so I removed it and replaced it with new rubberized grip tape that is just the same as the old rubberized grip that G&S used back in the 1970s. The top deck and bottom deck fibreflex stickers are new replacements they did not use a Bowlrider sticker until the 2. The deck looks really nice, and it now measures approximately 28.5 x 6.5 inches. Note: The last two photos show old G&S ads featuring the early (first generation) Fibreflex Bowlrider model.
