Jeff Kendall Santa Cruz Skateboard Deck. Vintage From 1986 and Extremely Rare! This is NOT a re issue. This is the real deal from the 1980s! This belonged to my very good friend and was one of his childhood boards. When I got it, it was set up as a complete with tracker truck, rat bones wheels, rails, tailbone etc…. I removed the trucks and all hardware to what you see here. This board had original grip tape (the industrial crazy grip tape from before grip tape became a big thing) I took that grip off because it was dirty and a bit worn. I cleaned up the top of the board and did a little work on it to help bring it back to its original glory! Rails were removed but I left the screws / hardware in. The tail bone was removed which nicely protected the graphic there! There were a few stickers that were removed like on the SC logo. There is still one sticker on the nose (91x) which is a radio station down in San Diego. The board is in amazing shape. There is no paint chipping or anything like that. It was skated lightly back in the day but is in solid shape. There is a small crack on the tail (see pics) but thats about it! Truly a grail piece for any collection, it should be in a mueseum or the NHS offices or something! Questions, let me know.
