Wow – this is an amazing example of a (not so great) skateboard from the past. Made in the good ol’ USA! Amazing condition for it’s age. Sliders only have a few marks on them. No cracks or separation of the deck. Trucks have only a few (light) grinds on them. Fantastic display piece – a flash from the past for sure. The only thing I see wrong, is that the front truck is missing a rubber bushing, and a small piece of deck tape is missing. 1990′s Vintage Santa Monica Airlines skateboard deck with Venture trucks and wheels. SMA was founded by Skip Engblom in the late 1970′s who is also known for co-founding the Zephyr Competition Team (Z-Boys) and Santa Monica Airlines. SMA reached its peak popularity in the 1980′s and 1990′s, producing some of the most iconic decks of that era. Lightly used except a chip in the top. Very difficult to part with, is a great board.
