RARE! Vintage Pink Gullwing Super Pro III Skateboard Trucks Santa Cruz Bullets
ORIGINAL 1980′s SETUP. This is a rare find for any skateboard collector or enthusiast. The Gullwing Super Pro III skateboard trucks in pink color are not only a vintage item but also a perfect representation of the 80s skateboarding style & culture. The brands Gullwing & Santa Cruz are well-known in the skateboarding world, and these models, in particular, are highly sought after. The pink color adds a unique touch to the skateboard and is sure to turn heads. Whether for display or actual use, these all 80′s original parts, vintage pink Gullwing Super Pro III trucks & black Santa Cruz Bullet wheel setup is a must-have for any skateboard collector or enthusiast. Trucks are not bent or cracked. The axles are about 8.5 wide. None of the nuts are stripped. Wheels are still round with no flatspots and still roll smoothly. I’m not sure what brand the bearings are anymore (all I can read is “GERMANY GMN 608″), but they still spin freely & quietly. See pictures for contents & condition. Nos Logan Earth Ski Early Bruce World Champion Deck Vintage Skateboard 1970s
OK so NOS doesn’t always mean mint condition as stuff can receive minor damage from storage, but usually indicates the item has not been used or modified. I believe this deck meets this definition. 1976 version with no border around the logo and original 3 hole truck pattern. These 29 models and really all the named models like Brad and Torger Johnson model first showed up with the Makaha logo when the two were trying to boost sales by having a joint endeavor. When Logan dropped Makaha it was early’76 and then the border around the Logan Earth Ski appeared in late’76 early’77. That makes this logo style short lived for maybe 6 months but during that Dogtown heyday, the likes of Tony Alva, Jay Adams, Bob Biniak and a very young Eric Dressen rode these decks in pools, parks and on ramps. Doesn’t get much better than this!!
