This vintage Variflex Jack the Ripper skateboard is in rough shape. It is not rideable and is scratched in multiple places, but the design is very rare. I found a slightly better version, so I no longer need this one. One of the side rails is broken, and there is a crack in the tail guard too. The other side rail may be broken also. Vintage 1980′s 1985 Variflex XP Series Skateboard. It is a used skateboard with signs of wear. Please take a close look at all the photos. We feel it is in nice condition for it’s age. No cracks in the wood. It measures 31″ Long and at it’s widest point measures 9 1/2″ Wide. Graphics are bright and vibrant. We took closeup photos of the wheels and hardware. We are not experts in skateboards. You can ride it, but we could not tell you how well the ride is. This board was bought to use on a few film projects for background use. I was told that this is a 1974 Variflex skateboard. It appears to be all original, down to the wheels and bearings. It had stickers on them which I removed with a heat gun, but there is a bit of a difference between the tone of the wood where they were. I do believe this item would clean up very nicely and be a great one to use! Be sure to inspect the pictures well and let me know if you have any questions!

Wow – this is an amazing example of a (not so great) skateboard from the past. Made in the good ol’ USA! Amazing condition for it’s age. Sliders only have a few marks on them. No cracks or separation of the deck. Trucks have only a few (light) grinds on them. Fantastic display piece – a flash from the past for sure.
