These classic Sure Grip trucks are cast from the original 1960′s molds. The only modern revision to the truck are the hex head kingpins, instead of the original rounded slot head and use of urethane cushions and precision bearing axles, not for loose ball bearing wheels. Perfect and or necessary item to restore your early to mid 70′s skateboard setup. (NOTE: baseplate holes are a bit smaller than normal, so smaller diameter screws should be utilized). Left to right, (sideways) 1-1/8 OC (On Center). Front to back (lengthways) 1-5/8 OC (On Center). Sure Grip uses 356 T6 aircraft grade aluminum, 4140 Chromoly steel axles and grade 8 kingpins in all of their trucks. Every part of this truck was proudly hand built / inspected in the U.
