



The event featured amateur and professional competition in speed racing, freestyle, head-to-head slalom and cross-country obstacle racing, along with a celebrity slalom race and skateboard industry equipment expo. The program is filled with early skateboard photography, event information and period advertisements for companies including Bahne, Rolls Royce Skateboard Wheels, Universal Grabber and Mojo. This was the first Hang Ten World Skateboard Championship event and included many important early competitors. Published results identify riders including Bruce Logan, Tom Sims, Stacy Peralta, Ed Nadalin and Wentzle Ruml, making this an important document from the formative years of organized professional skateboarding. The program is complete and remains securely stapled. There are also small punctures or staple holes to some pages. Despite the condition issues, the interior photographs, articles and advertisements remain generally clear and readable.
