This is not a reissue. This is a 1983 Powell Peralta Tony Hawk skateboard deck. You can see where some stickers had been removed and some of the black dip has been touched up including the perimeter rim. Also, this deck has original Powell Tail Bone, original Powell Gorilla Ribs, and a NOS Powell Nose bone, and the two (2) used soft riser pads. The black dip has had touch up over some scrapes and around the perimeter rim. And, there’s a chip under the nose. However, the top graphic and the bottom graphic are not touched up, they are all original. BOTTOM GRAPHIC: has not been touched up, and is the original “chicken skull”. It is a three (3) color graphic – black over red over white. In the last photos you can see in black (over the black dip) whats left of the “POWELL PERALTA 1983″ portion of graphic, and the, still intact, “VCJ” artist’s initials (hard to see as its black over black). TOP GRAPHIC: has not been touched up, and is the SUPER RARE (C)1979 Powell Peralta Dragon in gold in near perfect condition. This still has the original griptape. Fullzsize deck measures 30″ long by 10 1/8″ wide. This deck has a few scrapes and a chip under the nose, otherwise it is in killer condition.
