>> One (1) vintage 1970′s era Bahne / Kicktail / wooden skateboard with “Hot Lips” Urethane Wheels! This skateboard is extremely rare and highly collectible! This vintage skateboard comes with all original components including ACS-580 trucks and Cadillac brand “Hot Lips” wheels! Measurements : 27.75″ X 7.75″. This skateboard has some light wear but remains in excellent cosmetic condition. Skateboard comes sealed in protective poly-bag with silica gel desiccant. NOS 1st Tunnel kicktail NOT REISSUE! Old School skateboard RARE #16 NOS 70′s
How about a little Northern California representation? Well look no further than this NOS 1st gen Tunnel kicktail from 1977 or 1978. Mitch was an artist and one of the first manufacturers to implement the beveled deck. I believe this was the board design that Team Tunnel first used in 1977. This is not a REISSUE. There are two small 1mm deep holes on the top of the deck which I tried to get in the pictures. No real discoloration or storage scuffs to mention. Nose and tail are in EXCELLENT shape. 7.5″ x 26″. The Dogtown crew was a major influence, and I was fortunate to see all of them in action throughout my teenage years. I have sought out skateboards for my collection that had the most impact on me. The provenance and authenticity of my collection is without question. All of these boards and decks have been on display or storage. No complete boards or decks have seen daylight since acquisition. Back when this came out, this laminated board was beyond the mostly oak and simple plywood boards that existed. Fibreglass sandwich with a maple core. NOS ACS 651′s and a very rare EARLY set of NOS G&S Wonkers. The Dogtown crew was a major influence, and I was fortunate to see all of them in action throughout my teenage years. My best guess is that this board came out contemporaneously with the original Peralta Oak Warptail. The logo is “branded” into the bottom of the deck. BEFORE HITTING B I N OR MAKING AN OFFER THANK YOU. This is not a re-issue! Vintage 1969 MAKAHA LX-10 Skateboard. In 1969 Larry Stevenson R. Invented and patented the first kicktail skateboards. This skateboard artifact is either one on the first prototypes of his invention or one of the first production models.. It does look like there was a price tag on it at one time. It looks to be fiberglass gellcoat surface filled with foam just like surfboards are. Trucks are loosey goosey with only a bottom bushing.. On youtube you can see this is the very Skateboard that’Rusty Henderson’ is holding during his part in the video. Larry Stevenson / Makaha Skateboards Collector Video. This board should end up in the Smithsonian one day. This board is over 48 years old! I believe in this condition it maybe one the rarest skateboards left.. You can’t find this board anywhere.
