The decals are peeling, the griptape has seen a lot of love, and the whole piece has a general sense of history and having a good time. This wasn’t just a showpiece. How about a little Northern California representation? Well look no further than this NOS 1st gen Tunnel kicktail from 1977 or 1978. Mitch was an artist and one of the first manufacturers to implement the beveled deck. I believe this was the board design that Team Tunnel first used in 1977. This is not a REISSUE. There are two small 1mm deep holes on the top of the deck which I tried to get in the pictures. No real discoloration or storage scuffs to mention. Nose and tail are in EXCELLENT shape. 7.5″ x 26″. The Dogtown crew was a major influence, and I was fortunate to see all of them in action throughout my teenage years. I have sought out skateboards for my collection that had the most impact on me. The provenance and authenticity of my collection is without question. All of these boards and decks have been on display or storage. No complete boards or decks have seen daylight since acquisition.
