Besides some minor wear near the screw holes, minty and clean all around. This set of vintage Independent skateboards trucks is from the 1997 stage VIII release. This is one of the two-tone color sets of tracks. Although the bottom base appears a light colored black it is really a dark colored navy blue. Here is a small piece of independent skateboard trucks history. This is the first release of the 126 mm lighter weight duralites. This was the beginning of the company trying to lighten the weight of the hanger and overall truck for the first time. Out of all of the older independent truck models, stage 8 is easily one of the most scarcely made and hard to find. These were manufactured for only 2 1/2 years at the end of the 90s, it was still the depression years of skateboarding. It is insanely hard to find any of these two-tone colored independent trucks in new old stock condition. Definitely an excellent collectors item.
