Vintage Jay Adams Signed Z-Flex Skateboard Deck 2013
Vintage Jay Adams (Autographed 2013) Z-Flex Skateboard Deck 7.25″x29″. Back in 2013 my wife found and corresponded with Jay Adams to surprise me with a signed Z-Flex deck for my 50th birthday. There is an interesting story behind the correspondence that only my wife could tell but needless to say, I was floored when she handed it to me on my birthday with everyone watching. Jay also included a note wishing me a happy birthday (of which I’m keeping but can send a pic upon request). Needless to say, now it’s time for someone else to enjoy this fine investment!

NOS Shogo Kubo Z-Woody Skateboard Vintage 1977 Z-Flex New Old Stock Rare
NOS 1977 Shogo Kubo Z-Flex Z-Woody Vintage Skateboard. This is a really beautiful and original Shogo Kubo signature model Z-Woody. It’s made of 3 wood plies, with a center beam like the fiberglass Z-Flexes. This board measures about 30-1/2″ x 7-3/4″. It’s never been used, drilled, or set up. Z-Flex released 3 signature models of the Z-Woody in the late 70′s for riders Shogo Kubo, Jay Adams, and Jimmy Plumer. Of the 3, the Shogo deck was the longest. Next was the Jay Adams at 29″ and the Jimmy Plummer at around 28″. All of these Z-Woodys are hard to find now, especially in NOS condition. Model : Shogo Kubo Z-Woody. Decals : Shogo Kubo Z-Woody decals on the bottom, a set up sticker on the top. Condition: This is a new old stock skateboard deck. It has never been used, drilled or set up. There are storage marks from being moved around over the past 40+ years, but the board has a nice finish to it. Overall, a really cool board, and a cool part of skateboarding history. Sorry I don’t have the knowledge base to know whether this skateboard is an absolute oldest first run original board…. Or what they call a reissue. Used and shows its age and wear. Z-Flex complete Skateboard original????? = maybe you know? Overall in pretty nice shape. One of the wheels is not in the greatest shape with some chips and chunks out of the outer edge.
