Vintage G&S FIBREFLEX Kicktail Model Skateboard Deck Gordon & Smith. Here is a really sweet vintage 25 inch G&S Fibreflex Kicktail Model Skateboard deck from the 1970s. This deck is in very nice condition. That being said, when I got it, it had a little nose damage. In addition to that, the top deck grip and sticker were pretty beat up. It also had some scratches on the bottom. As a result, I removed what remained of the grip and the top deck sticker. I then repaired the nose damage, and gave it a light sanding and a new coat of clear gloss spray (there is a slight run in the finish at the back edge on the bottom tail section). The deck has been given a new replacement Fibreflex sticker along with new rubberized grip tape that is just the same as the old rubberized grip that G&S used back in the 1970s. The deck looks great now, and you would never believe it is from the 1970s. I will also include an additional Fibreflex sticker for you to keep as a spare or to apply on the bottom.
