Vintage 1988 Schmitt Stix Monty Nolder Totem skateboard with Rat-Bones & Gullwing

This ultra-RARE, vintage 1988 Schmitt Stix Monty Nolder Totem complete skateboard with the original red Powell Peralta Rat-Bones 90A wheels & red Gullwing Super Pro III trucks is a beautiful work of art that deserves a nice wall with a spotlight on it, though still in good enough working condition to ride. The neon on the totem graphic and Schmitt Stix rails combined with the rad diagonals of the black/clear grip tape design on the top make it the perfect poster-child board of late 80s / early 90s skating… A rolling time capsule. As the original owner who bought this from my hometown skate shop as a kid, it’s crazy to think I’m old enough to have a board that’s so distinctly old school, so indicative of a bygone era, that The Smithsonian might one day display it as what a sample board from the late 80s looks like, next to maybe an Alva as the sample board of the late 70s. It’s definitely not one of today’s skinny boards, with it’s unusual shape and 10 inch width. It’s approximately 31 long… So no, it’s not longboard. It’s the same length as most boards, identical to the others I own… A Powell Peralta Lance Mountain reissue and original Sims Christian Hosoi model with Japanese rising sun graphic. This Schmitt Stix is NOT a reissue. Do a search for yourself.. It’s a ghost orchid, an ivory-billed woodpecker… Not necessarily extinct, but you may never see one again. Here’s a video that shows what the board looks like with rails and trucks off, plus how lightly wetting the surface reveals its original shine and color depth, which begs the question, how nearly-new would it look if you applied the right wax or restorative oil? Vintage Laminated HOBIE Weaver II Pro Model Skateboard Deck. Here is a really cool ultra rare Hobie Weaver II Pro model skateboard deck from 1977. The deck is in very good overall condition. That being said there was a hole drilled in the nose that caused a small section of the dark center laminated strip on the top side to be lost from the hole up to the tip of the nose. The hole and loss have been filled and repaired. The deck measures 30 x 6.75 inches. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
