These units were not made for sale to the general public on the commercial market. Instead, they were distributed as promotional items to official Free Former Skateboard dealers, predominantly on the West Coast. Estimates by former ALS Industry employees of the total number of these promotional aluminum units manufactured range from 100 to 200 per year for the two years they were made, making this example among the rarest and most collectible skateboards ever produced by Free Former and ALS Industries.
