This is a hard-to-find skateboard in this color. The name badge on the bottom sticker says, Quality Guaranteed by HUMCO Patented or Pat Pend Humphrey Mfg Co San Diego, 20 Calif. ” Measures 24″ overall in length and 4 5/8 wide. All the nuts, bolts, trucks, axles, wheels and springs are in very good shape for the age – late 1950′s early 1960′s. The trucks and wheel assembly is extremely unique. Rare: very early as a skateboard, this looks to be circa 1930s-40s (mainstream stuff didnt happen until the 60s). Beautiful Art Deco curves. 13″ L x 6″ W. Lots of fine, faint, cosmetic rust. Note the small dent on the top someone took an epic jump at somepoint and the wheel-bracket on bottom punched through the top! Looks like its intended to have both feet side by side and facing straight forward! A peice of skateboarding history worthy of some preservation and admiration. A peice of Americana!
