Up for sale is one of the most iconic and cultural skateboards of all time…. The red dip Mike McGill Skull & Snake deck from 1984. This board is in use condition but has been well taken care of and is not thrashed. The skateboard comes from a smoke free home and have always taken very good care of it. It has been safely stored away from dust & sunlight. This board is 100% original and authentic. It has not been touched up or anything like that. This deck is truely a time piece of pop culture and really is a piece of art. Any possible imperfections are overshadowed by its beautiful display. In my opinion, the condition of this board is really perfect, you can feel the soul in this used pop-art canvas. This 1984 Pig shaped deck has the gold dragon on the top side. The grip tape was removed, you can see the red dip color much better. This wall hanger has always been a treasure in my collection. I have owned this one for many years. It has been well taken care of in a smoke free household. Its actually in the exact condition I received it in back 10+ years ago…. It displays just as beautifully today as back then. It looks just as good, if not better stripped down without trucks & wheels. The paint displays beautifully and has a nice metallic shine when looking at under bright light. The grip tape was removed, I left it up to you if you wanted to replace, however I think it looks best without the grip tape on. The graphics are in excellent overall condition with only a small amount of cosmetic wear. The skull & snake design really is beautiful, it displays just like you would want this 1984 classic to. The Mike McGill signature / Powell Peralta text reads perfectly. The dragon graphic on the top side is the metallic gold variation and is in excellent condition. For a board 35 years old The Dragon is in the exact condition you would hope! This is probably the most iconic tough side graphic and Color. The gold has a nice metallic shine. The black nose bone is in pristine condition and does not have any cracking. The nose bone is still fully flexible and not in any danger of breaking. This is a Genuine Powell Peralta Nose Bone & not a generic. Also included is the brand new never assembled Powell Peralta 9 yellow Tail Bone. The Powell Peralta factory trucks are in never used condition and display beautifully. Powell Peralta manufacture the trucks along with Tracker….. They are technically no different than 9 Sixtracks. On the bottom side of hair you can actually see the two ovals where a tractor normally brands the truck model. On these Powell factory trucks 2 ovals are blank without text. Small amount of wear and tear in paint / wood but nothing major. The biggest imperfection to mention is probably the chip on the top side of tail. If you choose to put grip tape back on this will cover it right up. I hate to get rid of the skateboard because I know Im never going to get the same model / in such condition again. As you probably know, in the last 2 to 3 years the pig shape Mike McGill decks have a come extremely scarce and hard to find. This model has continuously increased in value and demand.
