Nike SB Designer Series Skateboard Deck Concept 2006 – UNOFFICIAL – Super Rare. This deck was a prototype designed in 2006 for Nike by a 3rd party vendor called General Public Inc. I don’t really have many details on this and I can’t find any info on the vendor. My wife used to work with the Action Sports team years ago and some of these decks were given to Nike employees. It appears it was a pitch by the vendor to get Nike interested in branding skateboards. Just to be clear, this is not an official Nike concept project nor was it ever produced. If anyone recognizes this and would like to share info please message me. This board has been in storage for a long time. Apart from various nicks and scratches, it is in overall good condition. There isn’t any grip tape on it and has never been ridden. My daughter sometimes played with it on the carpet when she was little, which is where most of the surface defects come from. We had intended to put wheels on it but for some reason that never happened. On the close-up of the bottom it says’Limited Edition 50 count’. Since this project was a demo it is possible that less than 50 were made. I have no way to verify this, just a guess. Measures 31″ long by 7 3/4″ wide. See photos for details. If something is unclear let me know.
