Here we have an NOS 1980 Bruce Logan Duralite Kicktail. The deck has never been mounted. I had a few of these back in the day. There is some discoloration, and there are some small storage scuffs as you would expect after 40+ years. Please note: THIS IS NOT A 2013 RE-ISSUED DECK. 7.25″ x 27.5″. My best guess is that this board came out contemporaneously with the original Peralta Oak Warptail. The logo is “branded” into the bottom of the deck. Here we have a 1978 Powell Peralta complete board from 1978. George and Stacy formed Powell and Peralta the same year. This Sword and Skull design was one of their first releases. THIS IS NOT A REISSUE. The board has a 44 year old patina, but has been on my wall for the last 27 years plus. I put on NOS Sims Street Wheels, even though they are not period correct, just for the color matching. Light used and period correct Venture Trucks (which came with the board). SIMS KAMIKAZE REISSUE RETRO SKATEBOARD DECK-VINTAGE-HOSOI-RISING SUN. Just hanging on the wall. 1 ding near the tail. From the factory like that. Not touched up. You can see it in the pic. These classic Sure Grip trucks are cast from the original 1960′s molds. The only modern revision to the truck are the hex head kingpins, instead of the original rounded slot head and use of urethane cushions and precision bearing axles, not for loose ball bearing wheels. Perfect and or necessary item to restore your early to mid 70′s skateboard setup. (NOTE: baseplate holes are a bit smaller than normal, so smaller diameter screws should be utilized). Left to right, (sideways) 1-1/8 OC (On Center). Front to back (lengthways) 1-5/8 OC (On Center). Sure Grip uses 356 T6 aircraft grade aluminum, 4140 Chromoly steel axles and grade 8 kingpins in all of their trucks. Every part of this truck was proudly hand built / inspected in the U. Reissue Vintage Skateboard Deck. Rob Roskopp Reissue Target II. Original Artwork By Jim Phillips. Re-issue of the Roskopp “Target II” deck from originally released in the mid 1980s. The graphics are by the legendary artist Jim Phillips as are most classic SC decks. This is my favourite colourway of any Target reissue so far. The fade works really well with the rings on the target. It is the same shape & graphics as the 80s original but has been slightly modernised so as to be a better skater deck – longer & steeper nose.
