T hanks for checking out my vintage hang ten skateboard. I have owned this since the early-mid 70s (Im 54yrs old). Im forced to sell off some of my collection due to unforeseen bills etc. The board was only used for a short period , then I switched to a plastic board with a kick tail and later early sims etc so this board was just stored at my folks house til about 8yrs ago when I reclaimed it. Its the way it came other than it had the goldish clear urethane wheels seen in vintage add. Well my little shredder so n got the board out when I was gone and decided to try it out… (7yrs ago) I went online and bought the current wheels new old stock in package and paid almost half the price of the board listing price for them. The board is in great shape as far as vintage skateboards go. There are however a few scratches , nics , etc so please look pics over. I have not tried to remove wheels and polish surface rust on trucks or any other restoration.. That being said , Im sure with a little elbow grease this could be even nicer looking! Sticker on the bottom of deck.. The snoopy is old and been there forever! The dog town is something my son stuck on there a few yrs ago and will peel right off. Here for sale is an EXTREMELY rare and true skateboard grail for the collector. This 1960s Nash / champion “Catalina” sidewalk surfboard is a true vintage survivor and in amazing used condition for its age. Completely intact and all original. It is a perfect piece for a true collectors skateboard / longboard or surfboard collection. Has been stored in a basement for probably 60+ years and there is some rust and corrosion on the trucks and bearings as seen in photos as expected from age. 1960′s Rock Rider NASH Sidewalk Skate board Surfboard Beatles British Invasion

Here we have a super RARE 1960′s Antique Rock Rider NASH Sidewalk Surfboard. This one has the Beatles British Invasion Graphics. Graphics are in overall good shape, they have some wear but still show well! This was stored inside in a climate controlled environment so there is no rust on the bearings. The board is in very good condition with almost no heel wear. There is some prow wear including one chip out of the top of prow shown in pic 4. There are no cracks in the wood. Perfect never used or retailed condition. The original shrink wrap cover comes with teh deck as does the 2 cards shown. The shrink had split and it was easy to remove the deck to show it unwrapped. Has been in a protective bag around the whole lot. In Perfect shape or condition is as the day it was made or new however you wish to look at this and never used or retailed condition. Duke Kahanamoku RARE NASH Skateboard 1960s Vintage Hawaii Surfing Swimming

An exceptionally rare board and a beautiful addition for the serious collector. Early 1960s Nash board featuring Duke Kahanamoku. Duke was a celebrity athlete/Olympic gold medalist who is regarded as a legend, as well as the grandfather of American swimming, surfing, and helped pioneer skateboarding as a result. Skateboarding would arguably not exist without this man. These boards were produced in small quantities in the earliest days of skating, but were pulled for reasons unclear. I’ve read that due to family not appreciating the use of the name, but that’s anecdotal. This will be a gem in a collection when displayed. Measures just under 29″ in length and just under 6″ in width. Stands 3 5/8 tall on the trucks. The board itself is about 7/8 thick. This board is in untouched original played with condition; I didn’t bother whipping the years of dust and dirt off because I personally find it beautiful and charming the way it is. The blue graphic retains approximately 90-95 percent of its original image and is still a beautiful vivid color that presents wonderfully. Has scratches and some image loss as pictured. The wheels are clay and spin freely, though need oil. The trucks and screws have minor rust. Two of the screws have poked through the top of the board (not completely) from over tightening. The board has scratches, dents, dings, and chips as to be expected. It was obviously ridden but has been stored for many decades out of light. I do not hide anything from my buyers and deal exclusively in high dollar collectibles. What you see is exactly what you will get. Feel free to ask questions.
